Maranello - Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo warned on the FIA that Ferrari can not survive much longer in Formula 1 if the rules that limit the F1 teams are not also revoked.
Speaking at the event Ferrari World Finals in Mugello, Italy, Di Montezemolo confirmed that rules such as technical regulations, rules about the tests on the tires, and restrictions on the number of cars per team allowed only two should be changed. Decision-makers in F1 should change the rule on a large scale or Ferrari will exit.
"Our Formula 1 is still alive, but there would not be without Ferrari Formula 1. Just like without Ferrari, Formula 1 will be different, "said Di Montezemolo was quoted as saying Autosports, on Monday (7/11/2011).
Di Montezemolo also said that F1 can not assume the continuation of Ferrari's participation in the event the pole is just like that. "If you want a Ferrari Formula 1 is still the (rules) that must be changed and come back to the past is full of research.
